Medicana Ataköy has standard rooms designed to meet the needs of patients and their relatives. Designed with the concept of a hotel but with the comfort of home in mind, the rooms that fully meet the basic needs of patients and their relatives also include services such as a minibar, television, internet, and newspaper service.

 

Suite Room

In addition to basic needs, our suite rooms also include a waiting room where patients' relatives can rest. Our rooms have private bathrooms for patients and their companions. Suite rooms offer many services, from minibars to televisions and newspaper service.

 

King Suite Room

Our King Suite rooms have a spacious and airy environment where the patient's relatives can be comfortable along with the basic needs. King rooms, which have private bathrooms for both the patient and the patient's relatives, also include many special services. The mini bars in the rooms, which are specially designed to have the warmth of a home and the comfort of a hotel, contain the basic needs of the patient and relatives.

Surgery

General checkups and pre-surgery tests will be done for your limb-lengthening operation. If there is no obstacle, you will be taken into the operation room. You will take this surgery under general anesthesia or local anesthesia.

Surgery using internal procedures takes about two hours. However, exterior procedures often take three to four hours to complete.

 

Hospitalization After Surgery

In both methods, you will stay between 3 and 5 days in the hospital. Our hospital has three meals a day. During hospitalization, you will be accompanied by the Limb Lengthening Istanbul team. Hospital nurses will apply serum vitamins and blood thinners.

Our doctor will provide you with the essential instructions when you are ready to leave the hospital, including how to lessen pain and enhance your walking, how to clean pin sites and change bandages, and how to create daily distractions (lengthening). We will confirm that you are capable of finishing these duties independently.

The lengthening procedure usually starts after hospitalization. After hospitalization, the Limb Lengthening Istanbul Team will transfer you to your accommodation hotel. Our limb-lengthening hotel includes our caretakers, physical therapists, and nurses who have special education about limb lengthening.
